Blacktown Hospital Early Works (NSW)
The Blacktown Hospital project will deliver:
- A new multi-storey car park for approximately 600 cars;
- A new comprehensive cancer centre;
- Construction of a new building for cancer care, cardiology, aged care & rehabilitation and other health services and internal refurbishment of the existing building; and
- A new sub-acute mental health facility to provide step-down care for adults preparing to return to the community.
The first step of the $300 million Blacktown Hospital redevelopment was the redirection of the existing services and making way for the $24.2 million multi-storey car park, providing 600 parking spaces, and result in over 1,400 spaces available at the Blacktown campus. 米6体育APP Pty Ltd undertook the installation of the initial infrastructure including two new substations and the entire in-ground infrastructure to make way for redevelopment.
